Shaping the Future of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Research in Scotland

NHS Research Scotland's Gastroenterology and Hepatology specialty group's are jointly hosting their first free, in-person meeting on Tuesday 18 March at the Barracks Conference Centre, Stirling

Registration is now open. Focussing on the aims, opportunities and resources available in the gastroenterology and hepatology areas, the event is open to all but particularly targeted towards research nurses, trainees and those newer to research. The programme is expected to cover:

• National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) Associate Principle Investigator Scheme
• Research Fellowships
• A view from the Clinical Research Facility: How to get the best from each other
• Clinical Trials Units in Scotland: How they work and how to engage with them
• Accessing established databases
• A view from patient organisations
