Innovation grant to explore digital technology in asthma

Asthma UK and the Chief Scientist Office are joint-funding an innovation grant of up to £60K for up to 18 months to explore novel applications of digital technology in asthma, which could significantly enhance the quality of health and care for people with asthma and addresses an area of unmet need that aligns with one or more European Asthma Research & Innovation Partnership (EARIP) priorities
The grant must be used to directly support research carried out in Scotland. The Lead Investigator must be a permanent salaried member of staff at a Scottish HEI or NHS Board. Co-applicants from outside Scotland are welcome. Applicants may be from any sector however the collaborative team must demonstrate the relevant expertise, track record and infrastructure to deliver the project. Duration of the project must be no longer than 18 months.
The proposal should be completed using the headings provided on the application form and should be no longer than a total of 5 pages of text completed in Calibri font at font size 11 with no changes to the line spacing or the margins of the form.
