Our Future Health Prepares to Launch Recruitment in Scotland
3rd July 2023
Our Future Health is designed to help people live healthier lives for longer through the discovery and testing of more effective approaches to prevention, earlier detection, and treatment of diseases
With ambitions to be the UK’s largest ever health research programme, a Participant Engagement Manager in Scotland is now being recruited to help play a leading role in their launch across the country.
The charity is working closely with the NHS and with public authorities across all nations and regions of the UK with the aim of recruiting up to 5 million adult volunteers from right across the UK. These volunteers will be asked to contribute information to help build one the most comprehensive pictures we have ever had of people’s health. Researchers will be able to use this information to make new discoveries about human health and diseases, so future generations can live in good health for longer.
The Participant Engagement Manager will work with local partners to identify and establish effective infrastructure to invite and recruit volunteers and will lead on developing and implementing targeted plans to engage influential stakeholders ahead of the roll-out of recruitment.
Note: This role is managed, and funded, by Our Future Health.
