Senior Clinical Studies Officer: Tayside

I work as the Senior Clinical Studies Officer in Tayside.
 
I began my research career with the Neuroprogressive and Dementia Network in 2009.
 
I qualified as a Mental Health Nurse in February 1999. I began my Mental Health nursing career working mostly in Old Age Psychiatry within the Angus area. I have over 25 years Mental Health Nursing experience. This involved working with a diverse group of patient's, and within a variety of hospital and community settings. My first involvement working in clinical research was in 2008 when I worked on the Domino AD study. I am extremely passionate about research, it is fundamental to advances and everyone in Scotland should be offered the opportunity to get involved in some way. I hope that one day we will work on a study which will go on to provide new treatment's/advances for our patient's with a Neuroprogressive Disease.
